Observation details
Juvenile bird continuing at Avocet Pond, found by Huck Hutchens minutes earlier. Long pale legs, white below and brown above, yellow shortish bill. Some dark adult feathers coming in through the white. Occasionally calling, mostly during short flights around the pond. Foraging mostly in the open short grassy patches in the middle of the pond.
