Observation details
After a rainy night and in very cloudy conditions, bird was initially discovered by Isaias who made a brief recording of its vocalization. Bird flew from the Raptor watch site across the main road and was subsequently observed by the three participants perched on a thin bare branch of a tree at a height of about 15 feet above the ground. Bird was approached to within a distance of about 40 feet. Bird was seen from behind when the light brownish color and the scaly effect on the upper parts of the body and the long slim tail were apparent. Isaias was able to take a picture.
