Observation details
Later accepted as the first state record of Whip-poor-will. The bird was singing for over an hour at close range. I recorded the song and submitted a report to the Utah Bird Records Committee. Bird was heard from the loop at the end of the road. http://utahbirds.org/RecCom/2008/2008_12Summary.htm
