Media notes
Habitat: Tropical Forest. This cut begins with alarm hoots by the male who has seen me a moment ago hiding in the bamboo understory. The female soon joins in. After about 3:25 the female gives the first great-call, followed by more alarm vocalizations. Eight more great-calls follow, and the hoots become less alarm-like. At 15:15, near the end, the male gives more of his hoot series; those after about 15:30 are more alarm-like. He is evidently aware of my presence.
