Observation details
Three dark but iridescent Ibis. One photographed from ~40 meters away appears to be a first winter bird that has not yet developed the characteristic red eye and so could be easily confused with a glossy ibis, two other birds with similar coloring flew in later to the far side of the pond and, even though seen at a distance through the spotting scope, the red eye was noticed on one of the pair, indicating white faced over glossy.
