Observation details
Continuing bird. From photos, dorsal surface mostly greyish brown. Notable whitish wing bars extend full length of wing, becoming broad on primaries. Tail, when fanned out, has white feathers on outer edge, otherwise matches back colour except for ending in black tops, some of which are touched in white at the very end. Neck band on dorsal surface posteriorly black, anteriorly white. Feet and legs fairly bright yellow/orange. Under wing essentially white although darkish dorsal colours show through at tips of primaries. Viewed side on, the under side of bird is white. Black ring around neck is narrow. Bill mostly black with dark orange base - greater extent of orange on lower mandible than upper. Lores black back to, and under eye, and around behind eye. Yellow eye ring apparent. Chin and throat white. Forehead white down to bill. Black band across anterior half of crown extending through eye. Viewed from in front, chest band is narrow. I was unable to discern toe webbing.
