Observation details
**Note: This WMA is only open to birding on Sundays, please abide. Spotted first via scope by Andrew Baldelli after we kept walking and Steve Myers waited at the Purple Gallinule spot for the next arrival (Jason Schatti). Cleaner bird than Marbled Godwit, lacking a bar or black-tailed appearance of the rarer vagrant godwits. Photograph is below; state lifer! Observed on the northernmost impoundment of the southern half of Whitehurst Tract, the same area where Bob Ake found the Ruff a few years back. Still present when we left, as with the PUGA, hopefully everyone who came out was able to see this one. Video posted here: https://youtu.be/_awHLQhiNMo
