NOTES: THESE CALLS CAME FROM A BURROW OCCUPIED BY A PAIR OF BIRDS WITH ONE EGG. THE MALE AND FEMALE OF THIS SPECIES HAVE ALTERNATE INCUBATING PERIODS OF APPROX. 12 DAYS; THE MALE TAKING THE FIRST SHIFT. IT IS PROBABLE THAT THE MALE IN THE BURROW WAS TAKING OVER FOR HIS SECOND SHIFT. Other Behaviors: Incubate.
