Observation details
see photo. First identified as GW x W hybrid. This bird was suggested as a Icelandic by Matt Hunter. After looking at the photo I concur. Early. I recall that I thought it appeared smaller and more delicate than GW x W but the bill seemed stout with some gonys angle (but it now seems ok for ICGU). The gray in the head and pale mantle got me thinking, not a Western. I think a GWxW hybrid would show more "smudgy" gray patterning in the head this bird is just starting to show a more streaky pattern. Any comments / review welcome.
