See multiple photos of empidonax flycatcher with yellow wash to throat, yellow breast and belly with darkish mid breast area, prominent complete yellow-tinged eye ring, relatively short tail, It flicked it's tail a good bit and stayed in the understory as it foraged, which is typical behavior for this species. It did not respond vocally to playback.
