Media notes
Habitat: Monsoon evergreen forest. Group HO3: Part of the duet of this lar group with an attached pileatus male, who sings along in the duet and gives codas after the female's great-calls. The pileated coda begins during the female's great-call, as customary for pileatus, and the lar's coda follows after. At around 3:15, the lar female gives oo-oo-oo hoos, which usually mean that she is very disturbed by another animal.
