Media notes
Habitat: Monsoon evergreen forest. Group SY1: A group with a hybrid female and a lar male. A juvenile hybrid female sings with the adult; I believe that she is the adult female's sister. In 1978, this group consisted of an adult lar female and pileatus male; since then the adult female has disappeared and the older daughter replaced her mother and paired with a new lar male. Her younger sister is still present. Two buff lars that were still in the group in 1980 have gone. The hybrid adult female ends her great calls a little abruptly, noticed also in 1978 (as a juv.) and 1980.
