Media notes
Habitat: Mixed forest, conifers dominant. Pinus wallachiana, Abies pindrow, Cedrus deodar, Quercus incana. Another bird, probably female of pair, gives downward "meew" whistle which exactly coincides with the end of the focal bird's call. The two are so closely synchronized that they're hard to separate. Similar typr antiphonal singing takes place in the Formosan Laughing Thrush, Garrulax morrisonianus. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Contact.
