Observation details
I strongly believe that this species has fully established themsleves at this known location, being that they are considered a habitat specialst, I think some more reserach should be done as it relates to their diet, I have seen this individual along with other observers feeding on what appears to be a green caterpillar that inhabits the bambu, is this found throught all of the know locations for Blue Seedeaters In Belize? Could it be that this is why the prefer that area? Today we were able to observe a Male individual about 2 feet away from us, this individual was not shy to show his self off, Small Blue Seedeater, with a long tail and a short but pointed bill towards the end, this species was observed for about 10 mins, excellent recording obtained by Kevlin Mar and Myself( to be attached). A second individual was seen briefly presumably a female due to Rusty color, this Hotpsot has 5 know locations for this species so far.
