Observation details
At 9 a.m. at this spot BTM found a Mac/Mourning-type warbler, and I came to look. We saw it briefly in bush and then in flight when it looked chunky, short-tailed, and all yellow below, including the throat. It was then lost, apparently flying into the neighborhood to the east. Carole Rose and I searched for two hours but did not relocate it. Then at 11 a.m. Carole found a bird chipping in the original thicket. My views here were poor but I tried to tape it and eventually took this shot inside the thicket. This is a Mac. Whether it is the same bird as seen in the morning is uncertain. I had a strong impression of yellow throat and short tail on that bird, but no one has a photo of the 9 a.m. bird, so that's being left uncertain.
