Observation details
Continuing bird found yesterday by Mike Cadman. I refound this morning about 1km upstream from the bridge. Watched for a little over and hour was joined by Curtis Combdon. The bird flew downstream and was refound by David Pryor on the island about 350m upstream of the bridge. It spent most of the day on this island but did make a flight with some Killdeer down over the bridge toward the lake where we refound it again on the mud flats. It then flew back on its own to the island and was still there at 3:30pm. Dunlin/Stilt Sandpiper like bird with bright white eyebrow and dark cap, scaly back, buffy sides to the breast. Bill long, wide at base and curving down near the end to a point. Dark legs appeared black and very noticeable white rump when in flight.
