Observation details
washed up beached on sand, moving, dying : still alive when first spotted (and quick drive by ID!) by Russ : when we drove back north again it had a crow on top of it pecking out its eyeballs, while the poor RHAU still alive ... so sad, hope it isn’t suffering physical pain, at least, as being eaten alive ... (Russ said, prob birds that get beached already are ill or famished and that is why they get beached, can’t fight off the ocean). (PS. Also saw a pristine prob-recent beached ~ Salmon Shark on beach today, wow! — Note: Raining today on coast, raining near solidly from Arizona Beach (since last night, first night this past week of rain rain) up north to Newport).
