Observation details
Seen flying in, landing on grass, and taking off again. Primarily identified by size and shape, with brownish color. Also seen in flight two other times. Larger, tall, shorebird with round head and medium-length, thin, straight bill. Fairly long tail. Patterned, brownish on back. Quite skittish. Others have better photos. Not seen in the last 3.5 hours of daylight in spite of several birders searching..
