Bird was calling from the top of a tree, at the edge of Long Curve Rd from flooded swamp habitat. Across the ditch from this habitat there was the berm of Long Curve Rd. and beyond that the open field habit and cultivated fields/ plantings. Along the road edge there were several Gray Catbirds still on territory. The microphone is centered on the near bird, and other catbirds can be heard calling from the left, as well as from the right. Background species include: Northern Bobwhite, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Green Frog, Red-shouldered Hawk, Northern Flicker, Common Grackle, Pileated Woodpecker, American Goldfinch, Indigo Bunting, American Robin.
