series of clacks, not totally unlike LEBI. Per one app, this is a call between pairs to keep in contact. Towards end, a second bird did respond. Later gave typical grunting call, so definitely VIRA

Observation details

Tally. 3 near n side of road. 5 going off at once 1/2 mile or so south
