Observation details
Adults, sub-adults, with some juveniles. Very vocal grunting, probably by adults. Grunting calls recording, below. Xeno-canto sonogram for DCCO matches very low frequency low "tight, sticks, horizontal wall" in this sonogram. The DCCO's call shows as a "low frequency, horizontal stick wall", but there are simultaneous, higher grunts from the many NETOs. The higher frequency grunts are represented on the sonogram by tulip-shaped "blobs." Unidentified, low frequency loud call at :016 to :02 second marks. There were 20 NETOs, including what looked like family groups, and only one, juvenile/immature DCCO in audible range.
