Observation details
My scope is in the shop so I only could watch them through my binoculars. They were too distant for clear photos with my camera. The 2 birds more distant birds in the photos were associating with a flock of Killdeer. They were noticeably smaller, I could see only 1 breastband (they never turned to face me directly though), the bills looked shorter and a touch of orange at the base of the bill is visible in the individual on the right in the second photo. In the first photo, the bird on the right is scratching itself, displaying a yellow-colored leg. The sclera around their pupils are dark, in contrast to that of the red sclera of the Killdeer.
