Media notes
Tail slap from a single beaver (although another might have been nearby, thought I saw a second individual swim by before). Possibly in response to my presence, although at one point it was approaching small groups of Ring-necked Ducks and slapping near them, as if to displace them. With every tail slap the beaver would also dive underwater, remaining submerged for quite a while each time. Other Behaviors: Swim.
