Observation details
Absolutely spectacular encounter. One of my most favorite species, and the first time I've found one at Wildwood Park. Sat unbelievably behaved right in the open not too far away from where I could get my camera set up. I took many pictures and about twenty minutes of video of the woodpecker just living in its habitat. I've never seen such a photo-willing Pileated Woodpecker!
