Observation details
Recorded song attached - bird sings near end - Junco chip calls are also heard. Bird clearly sang multiple times but didn’t come out in open - heard off parking lot at Alaska Veterans Memorial Park. IMHO call seems to match Connecticut Warbler Sibley’s song #1 even though this is totally out of range for this species. Wish I could’ve stuck around & recorded more but our bus was leaving. Still felt like COWA to me - we get them in NE part of USA where I reside. In hindsight review, I'm wondering if this bird was a Northern Waterthrush.
