Observation details
Five of the photos contain a juvenile Western Sandpiper as well. On the SESA, note dark legs (which can lighten slightly with nonbreeding plumage and are reflecting sunlight in some photos); short, blunt bill; solid fill on scapulars and no rufous on upper scapulars; absence of chevrons on flanks. In two photos included here and one included under my WESA entry, the half-webbing on the the feet is partially visible. I take this SESA to be an adult transitioning out of breeding plumage.
