Observation details
mega for area, immature most likely post breeder moving further north then attended. All field marks noted, two tone bill, pale at base, dark tip, greenish-yellow legs and feet, many photos taken- will have to upload later. bird was feeding in river at the bridge on River Road just before the intersection of Webster Road. As far as I can determine this is a first for the NEK counties of Orleans, Essex and Caledonia. Interesting was a report just north of here in Georgeville Quebec on 27 May 1990. There are reports from Cabot, Washington County 16 August 2010 and another report from Lamoille County
