Observation details

Very few individuals were seen or heard singing. Baby bird (not fledged) was seen hopping and stumbling about in the grass here, chirping constantly. He was coming toward me, and let me pick him up. Hopefully he doesn't die. No adult sparrows gave evidence to their being it's parent.
