Habitat: Humid tropical (wet) woods. More or less cut over. Much second growth. Weather: Rainy, warm Recordist note: "This bird may possibly be Boucard's Antwren. Several B. Antwrens (Microrhopias quixensis) were seen working around the area when the recording was made, bu the bird singing could not be identified because it was not seen.". Soft and thin "chip-chip-chip-chip-ta-ta-ta-ta"; then "tsips" and a few braaas; then trills (4 of these).
