Habitat: Humid tropical (wet) woods, more or less cut over. Much second growth. Weather: Cloudy, rainy, warm Recordist note: "This bird was thought to be Ridgeway's Black hawk (Hypomorphus urubitinga). It was soaring over the area and it was impossible to get a good look at.".
