Media notes
The first bird is the high-pitched flowerpecker (same individual as ML 170823) , followed by the mustached barbet (same individual as ML 170822). The blue-eared barbet goes "ko-tec ko-tec ko-tec" etc. I was recording these birds on a bamboo platform 20 m up in the crown of a strangler fig tree (Ficus dumosus). ML: Background subject changed from Psilopogon australis to P. duvaucelli to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 23Nov2014. Habitat: Tropical Forest, Evergreen Forest.
