Media notes
I'm pretty sure this is an HY bird because it was very bright, had fresh/unworn plumage, and tried singing some odd songs. Adult prebasic molt for this species is on wintering grounds so adults would be duller and more worn this time of year here.
Observation details
This was an HY bird (based on very bright, fresh/unworn plumage) that was trying to sing but instead made some really odd sounds! However, it was by itself and full-grown so too old to code as FL. Tons of good breeding habitat for this species here though.
