BIG hummingbird compared to the usual rufous and calliope hummingbirds. Green through head, back and tail. White breast and belly with faint dots and stripes. Lower part on belly darker than breast and throat. Definite white behind the eye and just below and in front the eye--in line with the bill. Hard to say if a female or juvenile. When at the hummingbird feeder with a calliope, the rivoli's seems twice the size of the calliope. Tail has a touch of white on some feather tips. Wings long. Seemed to be as long as the tail. Wings dark gray/brown, but shoulder green.
