T812. Dawn chorus at Mapungubwe National Park on the banks of the Limpopo River in South Africa on 15/4/11. Leopard calls during recording. Starts with African Scops-Owl. 0.08 White-faced Scops-Owl. 0.10 Leopard followed by Scops-Owl and then bubbling call of White-faced Owl. 0.59 White-faced Owl at intervals for some time. Scops gives its ¿prrup¿ call in between. 4.02 Leopard calls again. Lots of throat clearing thanks to a dose of flu. Equipment used a Sound Devices 722 and the microphones an MS system with two Sennheiser MKH 30 & 40 microphones.". Equipment Notes: Decoded MS Stereo.
