Observation details
This rare bird was seen mid-morning in the most southern pond near NC12, about .6 or .7 miles south of north dike. Aggressive black-necked stilts were protecting the pond for their two juveniles and were scaring everything away. This bird was feeding with least sandpipers in the center of that pond.
