Media notes
The bulbul is moving amongst a small stand of tagged saplings. The numbers of the saplings include #8399, #8397, #0487, #8382 as tagged by the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation. It appears to feeding on small insects as it moves about at times coming within 6 inches of the ground. At approx. 1:53, a pigeon flies in and lands on the trail approx. 8 ft. away. It can be heard making a "honking" type vocalization as it does so. It then begins walking along the forest floor towards the microphone. The mechanical sound of both the leaf litter and its metal tagging rings can be heard.
