This recording begins with the microphone directed towards a group of nest sites. At approx. :37, an unseen individual can be heard vocalizing within the nesting area. At approx. an unseen Black Winged Petrel can be heard vocalizing. At approx. 1:47, it comes into visual contact as it attempts to "pair" with a Round Island Petrel. During this second call, it flies to within 3 ft. of the microphone. It can be heard again unseen at approx. 2:06. An unseen Round Island Petrel(s) can be heard vocalizing at approx. 1:58 and approx. 2:24 in close range of the microphone.
