Media notes
First segment: A single light morph bird is sitting in the area along with a juvenile bird. Two dark morph individuals are flying in the same clockwise pattern as described in recording #1132. They slow their motion as they approach the nest site and appear as if they are going to land without doing so. Eventually, both birds land at the nest site. The original light morph bird then flies off. Soon afterwards, one of the dark morph birds flies off. The additional petrels can be heard as they fly through the gorge in a clockwise pattern. Second segment: A dark morph bird is sitting in the nesting area along with the juvenile. A second bird is sitting on a rock approx. 4 ft. away. It is unclear which bird is making the "grunting" type call in the recording.
