In this recording, the mics are placed near to the tenting area southwest of the field-station. The shearwaters are nesting in burrows, out in the open, or hidden in underbrush. Throughout the recording, the petrel can be heard periodically: at 2:05, 40:47, 42:05, 45:00, 56:45. At approx. 58:00, the sounds of leaf litter and dirt being moved can be heard.
