Observation details
Before spotting the two adults associated with the nest box, three flew by and into a tree. There are four older looking chicks in the nest box. They did not mean for this nest box to be used and hung it where it is to “get it out of the way”. Irony! The adult that entered the next box was carrying a UFO which she/he apparently fed to a chick given the bird was UFO-less upon exiting the box.
