Observation details
First saw one with food in mouth. It then flew up to top of black spruce with it. Soon came back out, foraged around, sang a couple short half songs, got more food, and flew back to same spruce. I watched a while longer and it repeated this sequence several times so clearly there was a nest, likely with young, at top of spruce. Nest was 30-35 ft up only ~5 feet from top. Habitat was FLCs -- mostly black spruce and tamarack but also some cedar. Exact spot: 46.20372, -90.41930.
