A large flock of roughly 1,000 flamingoes, both Greater and Lesser Flamingoes (though more Greater) with young walking slowly and feeding in a tight flock in a shallow saltwater depression on the edge of some saltpans. According to Devji-bhai Dhamecha, both species had young in the flock. This area was between the towns of Degam and Kharaghoda in the southeastern corner of the Little Rann of Kutch. Habitat: Saltflat, Inland saline lake/pond, Edge.
