Media notes
These frogs were calling from up in trees, presumably from inside cavities in tree trunks. Low frequency disturbance that occurs sporadically throughout the first segment of this recording are moths landing on the windscreen. Much of the recording is without interference and these bits are good fidelity. A mesh cloth tent was eventually rigged over the microphone pair to impede moths from landing on the mics. The coordinates given for this recording are estimated--G. Budney 20Feb2016. Habitat: Rainforest. Equipment Notes: Decoded MS stereo recording. Original field tape stock is Ampex 467 DAT.
