Observation details

***Very rare, 2nd Basin record. Single individual found earlier by Carol Cedarholm. Swimming in Fall Creek with geese, then walked up onto the shore, swam back out onto the water, started calling, flew up and out creek to land on shore east of swan pen again where it went to sleep. Large, long-legged duck with pink legs and bill, black belly, and cinnamon upperparts.
