Observation details
Male and female, separately foraging in typically skulky fashion in flower bed between carousel and Joe Coffee Company kiosk. Both birds with olive green upperparts and bright yellow underparts; male had darker gray hood and black ‘bib’ at margin of hood and breast. Heard male sing several times. Both hopped, did not walk as a Connecticut Warbler would. Female later flew to planting bed on south side of the lawn, giving a couple calls as it went. Male stayed but ultimately flew out to a nearby Sycamore. Last seen perched in a lower branch, preening.
