Media notes

Recordist's Notes: "Female Spectacled Eider (w/ silent brood) growling at approach of human observers. 7 primary growls in first 10 sec; a secondary growl at 0:13. Secondary growls seem different, less harsh (also perhaps averaging longer in duration, higher in frequency, and slightly more complex in gross structure). Subsequent secondary growls at much lower volume.".
