Observation details
Seen by the ranger cabin; Up high so only observed the bird from beneath. Bright orange with dark wing coverts but no strong black facial pattern. During the spring of 2013, a Male Flame-colored Tanager was located in the same area and was in close association with a female Western Tanager. Breeding was suspected. This individual could represent a hybrid offspring.
