Observation details
I had a good look as they were flying by, assuming they were dowitchers at first; however, larger with a more elongated posture, overall golden color and long, pink bill. Also no white stripe down back and a black patch on the extended wing. By the time I busted out my camera, fumbled off the lens cap, took pictures on the wrong exposure, fixed exposure and got pics, they were very distant. Thtey tried to land with the flock of Snowy Egrets and Laughing gulls but too many people around so they continued south.
