Observation details
Seen on opposite side of Kellys to Cygnus hide. Smallish wader, white underparts, white face, grey upperparts. Legs not visible, bill long and thin. See photos (if they will upload). Oops, no - problem uploading the photo again! Tried a smaller photo, same result!!! Yay! At last one of my photos has loaded (sixth attempt!), so I will save this and delete the previous list. Originally listed as Marsh Sandpiper, as that was what it had been previously identified as, and it was quite distant and into the sun by the time I saw it. On examining a number of photos by a few different observers it has been determined that it was actually a Common Greenshank, most photos show the slightly upturned bill. I will attempt to upload a couple more photos.
