Media notes
Bird first heard and then seen on the top of a 7 metre young Alder tree. After a while it flew down to a dense clump of bushes and was joined by another bird. They were either foraging or feeding chicks. Low and gentle sounds were heard (not loud enough to be well recorded) The song heard is a shorter fragment of a typical song. Neverthless it was performed from almost the top (unusually) of a small tree Background Birds – Common Cuckoo, Gray-headed Canary Flycatcher, Doves, etc
Observation details
One bird first heard singing then seen, soon it joins another in a dense bushy bramble. Not sure if just attracted to some thing there or nesting. Song recorded - though it performs only a part of its full song
